Something unusual that happened.
Last week, when I was playing FIFA11 on my PC, something unusual and hilarious happened. I was using Manchester United, a soccer team in the Barclays Premier League. I had bought Petr Cech in the transfer window. This is how he looks like. So, I was playing against another soccer team called Tottenham Hotspur. I was still losing by a goal. And I had a corner and the game was ending. So, I asked Cech, my goalkeeper, the one above, with the headgear. I used my favourite player, Nani, to take the corner. He delivered such a precise ball into the penalty box. Incredibly, Petr Cech made a header and it was a goal. USING HIS HEADGEAR. HAHA. I was rolling on the floor laughing. What a goal. For a goalkeeper, especially with a headgear. It is indeed, an unusual moment. , 8:49 PM
A moment spent alone doing something I enjoyed
Having not used up all the gifts, I decided to use one 7-Day Gun, to play with my tution friend, James. We played 1v1 at Paien Lab, one of the maps in Wolfteam. It was a very close match. It was like, he killed me, then I killed him 2 times, after that, he killed me back again. It was such a exhilarating match. I was so nervous, my sweaty palms, clutching the mouse, carefully moving my character, trying not to be spotted. When there was only 10secs left. It was still a stalemate. I turned and saw my opponent, and a grenade come flying to me. I was hit. But I wasn't dead. I still had 20 HP now. But I fired a few shots. And I saw HEADSHOT! I killed James. And I won the match! HAHA. What a epic match! When the match finished, I had to stop because I had to practise playing piano. Looking forward to another rematch with my friend, James. ( If you are reading this, COME ON FOR ANOTHER MATCH! ) , 5:01 PM
A special moment I enjoyed with my family.
Today, I went to Marina Barrage with my parents and grandparents at around noon. When we arrived, we saw a group of people entering the marina barrage. When we first entered, we saw a restaurant. We were already famished, so we went into the restaurant. It was quite packed inside but there were still a few tables, so the staff at the restaurant led us to our table. After sitting down, we ordered a 5-6 people set. Fried chicken, fried rice and others were included in the set. While waiting for our absolutely delicious food to come, a waiter brought a chicken porridge to the table beside ours, and the aroma of the porridge wafted to my nostrils. My stomach went grumbling. After waiting for about 5minutes, our food finally came. When my grandmother wanted to eat the fried chicken, my mother stopped her and explained to her that the fried chicken was oily and not good for her health. My mother was such a filial child that cares about my grandmother. After hearing my mother's explaination, my grandmother ate the chicken porridge. After that, she exclaimed that it was very tasty. Thus, I tried the porridge. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUSLY DELICIOUSLY GOOD. All the food was very nice and after we ate our delicious mango sago, we went to the rooftop of the marina barrage. When we arrived at the rooftop of marina barrage, we saw people flying kites and having picnics. We found a spot and laid our picnic mat on the green grass. Although we were quite full, we still brought some sandwiches. Before we even eat, my grandfather and I went to take a stroll on the rooftop. The scenery there was simply beautiful. We could see the singapore flyer and marina bay sands from the rooftop. While walking, my grandfather told me that the Marina Barrage is the 15th resevoir and to supply more than 10% of Singapore's current water demand. So, we could not always rely on imported water. Grandfather also told me that the Marina Barrage is part of a comprehensive flood control scheme to alleviate flooding in the low-lying areas in the city such as Chinatown, Boat Quay, Jalan Besar and Geylang. During heavy rain, the series of nine crest gates at the dam will be activated to release excess storm water into the sea when the tide is low. In the case of high tide, giant pumps which are capable of pumping an Olympics-size swimming pool per minute will drain excess storm water into the sea. Wow. Grandfather really knows about everything! After walking for about 10minutes, grandfather was tired. So my dad and I went to our car to get a kite from the boot. It was a diamond shaped kite. There were also lots of people flying different kinds of kites. Such as the shape of a centipede, and doraemon. The kites in the large blue sky were like birds, flying freely. My dad and I took turns to fly our kite, it was extremely fun. While we were flying the kite, my dad told me that when he was a child, he often flew kites with his malay friends, and would glue some glass pieces on their string that is attached to the kite and try to cut each other's string. He said that it was extremely fun and he missed those kampung days. Soon, my dad went back to where our picnic was, and my mum came to fly the kite. All of us had a very good time. When we were tired, we went back to the location where we had our picnic and we started to eat our sandwiches. We had a whale of time. Time flies. And it was already 5pm. We packed up and left. When i was in the car going home, I looked out of the window, and was deep in thought. I should cherish this kind of moment because my family could not have this kind of outing forever. , 4:55 PM
Something that took place in school
To his delight, it worked, now he just had to have a music player and a cbox in his blog. I helped him with the music player, but it sort of failed. HAHA. So some of our other friends come over and helped. So I went back to my computer. I switched it on, and it came to the log in screen. I tried logging in but it failed. I told Miss Tan, our english teacher, and she asked me to sit beside Jonathan Tiong. So I continued with my blog assignment. Meanwhile, Tong Hoe was sitting opposite us. He made a hilarious comment about something. I was laughing until my stomach was very painful. I seriously didn't think that Jonathan Tiong would say that. What he said is not something bad. So don't get the wrong idea. It was just a statement that I found funny. Hope all my classmates would have a good grade for your blogs. :D , 4:33 PM
A problem I encountered and how I solved it.
"RINGGGGG!!!" , the annoying alarm clock rang. ARGH! I didn't want to wake up. I toss and turned, accidentally hitting my alarm clock, and it fell onto the floor with a BANG. However, I didn't care, getting back into my wonderful sleep. After what seemed to be a short while for me, I woke up. I thought it was only about 9am in the morning. I dreadfully, dragged my body out of bed, picked up the alarm clock from the ground. But to my horror, it was already about 11AM! I WAS SHOCKED! Immediately, I went to brush my teeth, and eat my breakfast. After that, I started to do the tons of homework as fast as I could, because I had to go out with my family at 3pm. I quickly done my Maths, Higher Chinese , and Tution homework. Thankfully, it was only 2.30pm. But I remembered that there was still some homework, so I called my friends, luckily, they told me what homework it was. So, I did it immediately, and there was still 5 minutes left. Thanks to my friends, I could solve this problem. My parents soon said that we had to go out for lunch. Fortunately, I could finish my homework, or else I would get a scolding from my parents, because I was supposed to wake up at around 9am. (Don't tell them that I woke up at 11AM! HAHA!) SQUARE COOKIES!!! :)
After baking, when we took out the tray, it was like a pancake, but with lines separating the cookies. So, we cut them into square cookies while others were all rounded ones. And ours were also quite ugly. When we showed miss hashimah the cookies, we knew that she would surely give us a very low score. But she tasted it, and said it was quite nice but the shape was quite weird. And surprisingly, she gave us 5/5, while some other classmates' cookies were round and only got 4/5. Jonathan tan and me were so happy. What a home econs lesson!!! :) Saturday, January 22, 2011, 10:25 PM
Young Lions Soccer Training.
Time flies, and it was already 8.30am. Almost everybody had arrived, so everybody went to the middle of the soccer field to stretch and warm up. After that, my group started training. Last week, coach nicolas told us that we would do shooting today. But instead, another coach came, and asked us to do all sorts of complicated drills. And when anyone screwed up, we had to redo it all over again. So we did it like almost more than 10 times as it was very difficult to get everyone to do it correct in one time. It was like, kick the ball to the guy in the middle, then you must run diagonally, then he will pass the ball back to you, and you have to run diagonally again. And there are a few different sets. Finally, after everyone does it correctly, our coach nicolas appeared. And we did some juggling. And i wasnt able to do a lot, because my knee was very painful. After that, we did some passing. Finally, the moment that all of us have been waiting for. Shooting. Coach taught all of us how to shoot a powerful shoot and we did as what he said. One of my friend's shoot was extremely powerful. Coach Nicolas said that the shot was a good one. We did a few shots each and we starting playing 2-Side. And we ended the game with a 1-1 Draw so there was penalties. Unfortunately, we lost the penalty shoot-out. 10.30am came. So we helped to keep the balls, and we packed up and left. Usually, after my training, I would take bus/mrt home with my primary school friend, who is also in the training programme. But unfortunately, he is injured. So I have to go home on my own this few weeks, and i prefer my friend to accompany me. Looking forward to next week's training. BYE :D Friday, January 21, 2011, 9:53 PM

Thoughts about blogging.
![]() Blogs are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or videos. Blogging is for people to express their feelings and thoughts, maybe about recent events. but it is not private, like a diary , as a blog can allow other internet users to read your posts. But blogging is really time consuming and people like me dont have such time to do this stuff, but I still find that it is really cool to have a nice and interesting blog. Other people may spend up to hours on blogging.... But having a blog is really troublesome as you have to update it every now and when but it will be worth the time if you really make an awesome blog. I have a blog, but I didnt update it for about 1 year or more because I find it really troublesome. Maybe after this, I will perhaps, continue blogging? And I feel that it is really really really difficult to design a blog that is really nice although my friends' blogs always seem nice and they don't really spend a lot of time on it.( Really appreciate the help my friends gave me on designing :D )Thanks! Bye. :D |
