Young Lions Soccer Training.
  Time flies, and it was already 8.30am. Almost everybody had arrived, so everybody went to the middle of the soccer field to stretch and warm up. After that, my group started training. Last week, coach nicolas told us that we would do shooting today. But instead, another coach came, and asked us to do all sorts of complicated drills. And when anyone screwed up, we had to redo it all over again. So we did it like almost more than 10 times as it was very difficult to get everyone to do it correct in one time. It was like, kick the ball to the guy in the middle, then you must run diagonally, then he will pass the ball back to you, and you have to run diagonally again. And there are a few different sets. Finally, after everyone does it correctly, our coach nicolas appeared. And we did some juggling. And i wasnt able to do a lot, because my knee was very painful. After that, we did some passing. Finally, the moment that all of us have been waiting for. Shooting. Coach taught all of us how to shoot a powerful shoot and we did as what he said. One of my friend's shoot was extremely powerful. Coach Nicolas said that the shot was a good one. We did a few shots each and we starting playing 2-Side. And we ended the game with a 1-1 Draw so there was penalties. Unfortunately, we lost the penalty shoot-out. 10.30am came. So we helped to keep the balls, and we packed up and left. Usually, after my training, I would take bus/mrt home with my primary school friend, who is also in the training programme. But unfortunately, he is injured. So I have to go home on my own this few weeks, and i prefer my friend to accompany me. Looking forward to next week's training. BYE :D |
